CHAPTER 3

SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS,

AND RECOMMENDATIONS

SUMMARY

This paper attempted to answer the question: What can the Filipinos do to survive the worst case scenario? And aim to determine if the American preparation can be applied in the Philippines.

The research design used in this study is the descriptive research method wherein the data collected through the process of researching and surveying were used to answer the research question posed. Hence, the summary of the research are the following:

1. American people are fully aware about preparing for a specific calamity that may strike. In contrast with the Filipino people who are unaware.

2. Preparing for a specific calamity is not necessarily expensive that there are alternative ways in doing it.

CONCLUSION

Based on the summary which is the findings of the research, here is the conclusion:

1. Being able to prepare has nothing to do with the economic status of a country. Thus, it is about the awareness of its people.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

After drawing the conclusions of the study, the researcher hereby make the following suggestions:

1. Every individual in any area should be aware of the events that happen.

2. Taking little steps in preparation does not harm; thus, make an individual more prepared.
